About Brett Trigger
Brett began his sales and management career in 1979. In the late 80s, Brisbane's real estate market went through one of its biggest boom periods. As a result, real estate companies in Australia headhunted top salespeople from other industries and Brett was seconded into real estate in 1991.
Upon entering the real estate market, Brett began to focus on the belief that would sustain him through property highs and lows - that sale by auction is the best proven way to sell property - and he has maintained this philosophy ever since, to great result.
In 1992, Ray White awarded him with the highest marketing accolade available. Brett won the company's 'Marketer of the Year Award' in both 1995 & 1998, making Brett one of the most awarded salespeople in the Queensland real estate market.
In April 1998, Brett joined Barfoot & Thompson as a specialist marketing advisor and auctioneer. Over the past eight years, he has sold more property 'under the hammer' than any other auctioneer in New Zealand, and has presided over nearly 7,000 auctions.
What makes Brett stand out from the rest is his ability to adapt to all price ranges, testing the boundaries of the property market to reflect growing values. During his time at Barfoot & Thompson, Brett has been personally involved with nearly 2,000 sales in South Auckland. Colleagues describe Brett as a tenacious, passionate real estate advocate, whose sale techniques and ability to constantly challenge the market ensure his clients are delighted with his results.
After such a great career as an auctioneer, Brett has now transferred his expertise to become Branch Manager at one of Barfoot & Thompson's newest branches in a rapidly growing market.
