I am very proud to be part of Residential/Lifestyle team working at Barfoot & Thompson, Waiuku. For me, doing good business with good people is what it's all about.
Like many people, I love the unique rural/coastal lifestyle that this part of Franklin offers and I am so pleased to be specialising in an area I've got to know and love. I understand that there's always more to learn about people and places. Whether you are buying or selling, I'll work hard to help you on your journey and get you where you need to be.
My family and I are originally from the South Coast of England and feel very lucky to be now living overlooking the water at Matakawau. My wife Tania, is a specialist children's nurse and works for the New Zealand Plunket Society. We share our home on the Awhitu Peninsula with our rescued cat and we thoroughly appreciate the neighbourly spirit and knock-about humour of this little corner of the country. We have one grown-up son who is pursuing his own career in the NZ Army.
We all enjoy the outdoors especially the water, and love exploring New Zealand either on foot, on our bikes, on road-trips, or by kayak.
I have helped people buy and sell homes in a variety of circumstances, for a variety of reasons and it is always very rewarding when you know that you've found the right people the right home or helped someone onto the next phase of their life's adventure. I am proud of the relationships that I have built and developed with my clients and am often humbled by the generous support I have received in my real estate career.
"After interviewing several salespeople, we decided to list with Anthony and Nicola from Barfoot & Thompson. They worked well together and complemented each other well. They delivered feedback in a timely manner and were knowledgeable about the rural/lifestyle market. I'm glad to say the sale price exceeded our expectations. Thanks again."S Anderson
Working with both Stephen and Antony to sell a property was an absolute pleasure. They made the process simple and easy as possible. Both were approachable and easy to contact when I needed anything. Regular updates were provided. They completed the hard work of negotiation quietly in the background which ultimately made the sale a success.
I would definitely recommend anyone looking at selling property to approach either of these salespeople.
Thank youMerrin Newlyn
Hi Antony. We would like to thank you for finalising the sale of our property on the Awhitu Peninsula. Your changes to the previous marketing strategy, we think, proved to be critical in achieving a result. Being fully informed on progress regularly is a thing that clients certainly appreciate.
We thank you for your professionalism and wish you well for the future.
RegardsJohn & Judy
As an older person on my own with a property to sell, I found Antony to be very helpful and supportive. I also appreciated his good sense of humour which helped me cope with some of the more stressful moments of selling. A very helpful and supportive person, I highly recommend Antony if you are in the market to purchase or sell a property.
Thanks again Antony for your hard work, persevering with the open homes when no-one showed up.
Hi Antony. Kristen and I would like to thank you for the efficient way that you handled the sale of our property at Hudson Beach on the Awhitu Peninsula., all done in a very pleasant manner. We were impressed with the way we were continually kept in touch with proceedings, and when we ended up with two bids on the property, how you worked quickly between the parties to bring a successful conclusion. We also thank you for assisting to keep an eye on the property until the protracted settlement day.
A big thank you for all the help you gave us in the search for our new home. We were new to the Franklin area and appreciated your friendly professionalism, local knowledge and sense of humour.
We're loving our new home in Waiuku and we're telling all our city dwelling friends that they should give you a call.
I'm a 60 year old retired businessman. Over my lifetime I have invested in residential property around the North Island and live in Auckland. In the last twenty five years I would have been involved in over thirty sale and purchase deals. Fair to say I have developed a fairly jaundiced opinion of real estate agents, their behaviours and their commissions. That said, twice in my experience I have met and dealt with ( repeatedly) agents that genuinely want to ensure a good result for their vendor. The second of these is Antony Greenfield. Pretty standard care and attention up to unconditional date, but post that a (surprising) maintenance of relevant communication and attention to ensuring a smooth settlement. This is unusual. Normally once the deposit is paid ( see commission secured) agents have psychologically moved on. Not in the case of my latest sale.
Antony managed a potential dispute with care, ability and intelligence and ensured a satisfactory outcome. He's a bit of a diplomat and I have no hesitation in recommending him to you to guide your sale and purchase agreement.
Antony Greenfield was a pleasure to deal with from day one. Antony is extremely professional and patient, and will go to Nth degree in making sure he finds the house that meets the criteria that you are looking for in a home. His communication and dedication to us, his clients, never failed to impress, Antony would always keep in touch through every step of the way , which made the purchase of our first home a smooth and easy one.
